Fourth grade students from the Birchwood School of Hawken near Cleveland, Ohio, were studying about the importance of native plants for pollinators when we began working on this legislation. The students felt compelled to write letters to their State Senators and State Representatives in support of the legislation, and traveled to Columbus to provide verbal testimony.
